PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly body and an image recorder in which a spindle can be easily assembled to a frame while an expandable member such as a spring is passed through the spindle. SOLUTION: A printer unit 11 has a drive changing mechanism 70 for changing the transmission path of the driving forces of a plurality of motors. The drive changing mechanism has a gear unit 110 and a supporting frame 120. The gear unit is attached to the supporting frame while being passed through the spindle 73 together with a first coil spring 111, a second coil spring 112, a stopper 150 or the like. A cutout part 127 and a bridge 137 are formed in a first side wall 124 of the supporting frame. A holding part 153 is provided on the stopper, and the holding part is connected to the bridge. The holding part plays a role of a handle to be picked up by a worker when the first coil spring is compressed or the stopper is connected to the bridge.
