In a streaming system to deliver contents and advertisement information, when a transmission side judges that a band state is insufficient, the transmitting side selects the advertisement information suitable for the state and makes it available for transmission and a receiving side also changes a method of displaying contents and advertisement information so that the receiving side can cope with the transmission. The transmitting side changes a method of making transmission data in accordance with a communication channel state. When the communication channel has a sufficient band, the transmitting side makes out transmission data in which advertisement is inserted between divided information. When the communication channel has an insufficient band, the transmitting side makes out transmission data in a changed insertion way such as the shift of an insertion frequency of advertisement information and the insertion of only character information. The receiving side analyzes the received data and changes its layout in accordance with the analyzed result. The receiving side displays advertisement information with fixed display contents at ordinary time but, when the band is insufficient, the receiving side changes its layout for the display of a marquee portion that displays advertisement information. |
