Disclosed is a polyvinyl acetal powder coating material which enables formation of a coating film having excellent coating film surface smoothness, which film hardly suffers from yellowing by heating and is suitable for coated article processing such as bending. Specifically disclosed is a polyvinyl acetal powder coating material containing a polyvinyl acetal resin and an antioxidant having a molecular weight of 380-1,000 and a melting point of 80-230°C, which is contained in an amount of 0.02-5% by weight relative to the polyvinyl acetal resin. The antioxidant preferably has a molecular weight of 400-1,000.
