<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag control device for side collision capable of preventing an airbag from being unnecessarily deployed. <P>SOLUTION: This airbag control device 1 for side collision includes a control means 4a for controlling the deployment operation of the airbag 5 for side collision when the output value of a door acceleration sensor 2 or a vehicle body acceleration sensor 3 exceeds a threshold, a lock state detection means 6a for detecting the locked state of a door lock mechanism installed in the front door or the rear door of a vehicle, and a threshold changing means 4b for changing the threshold to a high set value higher than a normal value when the lock state detection means 6a detects the door lock of the door lock mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
