<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication terminal including a means for changing the entirety of an LCD display area of the radio communication terminal, depending on a situation in which the user performs an operation. <P>SOLUTION: When the user scrolls the display area using an operation input unit 7, a first or second display area 13, 14 is temporarily erased, and the erased display area is used as an expanded portion of a third display area 15.
