<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque limiter that can be easily and quickly assembled and adjusted. <P>SOLUTION: The torque limiter includes a tube member 1 and a shaft member 2. The shaft member 2 has a circumferentially extending section 52 extending around the complete circumference of the outer peripheral surface of the tube member 1. The circumferentially extending section 52 has a circumferentially extending groove and a radially extending screw hole open to the outside radially of the circumferentially extending section 52 and to the circumferentially extending groove. In use, when the tube member 1 rotates relative to the shaft member 2, an outer end radially of a tube 27 is cut by a cap member 70 screwed to the screw hole. When the tube member 1 is rotated relative to the shaft member 2 with the cap member 70 not screwed to the screw hole and with the tube 27 not open to the outside, the end of the tube 27 circumferentially moves in the circumferentially extending groove with a spacing from the groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
