<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving control device of a vehicle opening/closing body capable of estimating an environmental influence having an influence on output from a capacitance type sensor, and controlling the opening/closing body to be closed at low speed, when estimating existence of an object. <P>SOLUTION: This driving control device of the vehicle opening/closing body has: the opening/closing body 3 for opening/closing an opening part 2 of a vehicle body 1; a driving means 7 therefor; the capacitance type sensor 100 provided on the end on the opening part side of the opening/closing body, for generating a proximity output signal corresponding to proximity of an object; and a control means for driving and controlling the driving means, and reversely controlling the driving means, when a value of the proximity output signal is over the first threshold for specifying proximity of the object. In the device, the control means controls so that the opening/closing body is moved at low speed from start of a closing operation of the opening/closing body until the opening/closing body is moved as long as a prescribed distance, compares the value of the proximity output signal just after then with the second threshold set to have a lower value than the first threshold, and continues low-speed movement of the opening/closing body, when the value of the proximity output signal is over the second threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
