摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load in a first ECU 12 for controlling VGRS 4 and a second ECU 28 for controlling EPS 5, in a steering system 1 for a vehicle having the VGRS 4 and the EPS 5. SOLUTION: According to this steering system 1 for the vehicle, a steering angle ECU 23 and a steering angle sensor 6 are integrally arranged. The steering angle ECU 23 calculates an estimate value of a steering angle, and executes determining processing of detection accuracy of the steering angle sensor 6, by comparing this estimate value of the steering angle with a detection value of the steering angle provided from the steering angle sensor 6. Thus, since the determining processing of the detection accuracy of the steering angle sensor 6 conventionally executed by the first and second ECU 12 and 28, is executed by the steering angle ECU 23, a load of the first and second ECU 12 and 28 is reduced.
