PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent large-screen display at a low cost by reducing a joint of adjacent image display devices in a multi-display device using a plurality of liquid crystal displays. SOLUTION: A planar display has an image display part and a non-display part provided at the outer periphery of the image display part, wherein an optical element for enlarging a display part on the non-display part is provided on the surface of the display part and non-display part on the outer peripheral part adjacent to the display part, to narrow a range of the non-display part.
