The invention relates to a method for evaporating components of a liquid comprising components A that are selected from among components boiling at high temperatures and at low temperatures at 1013 mbar and components B which are selected from among components that are gaseous at 20°C and 1013 mbar and boil at least at 30°K less than the high-boiling components A, at least one component being at least partially ionized. In said method, the liquid is heated by conducting alternating current therethrough.
