Laser cutting first aperture(s) in a nickel-based alloy inner shell (5) in the presence of an outer shell (7) placed parallel to and a short distance from the inner shell and having a second aperture includes placing a protective plate of aluminum-based metal between inner and outer shells. The protective plate has a thickness of 0.5-1.5 mm and a third aperture whose outline is inwardly offset with respect to the outline of second aperture. The outline of second aperture is in line with the outline of first aperture to be cut.
