The rail transport device (10) has a measuring system (14) which is provided for effective load detection and is arranged in such a manner that the load affecting a rail impeller is detected. The measuring system is arranged at or within a rail impeller attachment (16). The mechanical connection for guiding a sub frame (30) of the vehicle has the measuring system on the right and left of the vehicle longitudinal axis. The measuring system is arranged at the swivel arm of the rail transport device. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a vehicle with an assembly; and (2) a method for avoiding tilting or derailing of a vehicle, particularly a two-way vehicle equipped with a rail transport device.
