The bar (1) has an elongated body (3) integrated with a flank (23) of a suspended folder. The flank has sections (24, 26) that are folded around the body. The body has an orifice (7) for passing an adhesive bead that connects the sections of the flank in an integrated configuration of the bar with the flank, where the orifice is formed at proximity of a plane end (32) of the body. The orifice is pierced in the body in a staggered manner with respect to a median portion of the body. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a suspended folder.
