A virtual credit card system is provided to reduce a time that a user receives an issued card while the user can easily receive the card in case the card is lost, and to save a cost caused when a substantial plastic card is made and delivered by post or directly. A credit card issuing management server applies for issuing of a credit card from a user's terminal, receives the user's certificate information, and sends the certificate information to an authorized certification institute to apply for authentication, then transmits information on the credit card issued to the user's terminal. The user's terminal client transmits the user's issuing application information and the user's certification information to the server, and stores the information on the credit card in a storage medium. The storage medium stores the user's certification information, the user's credit card information, and a credit card information management application. |
