An optical film, a manufacturing method thereof and a liquid crystal display device including the same are provided to improve the adhesive force between a base substrate and a liquid crystal alignment film or between the liquid crystal alignment film and a liquid crystal film. A liquid crystal alignment film is formed on the base substrate of an acetylcellulose-based film and is formed from the liquid crystal alignment film composite which includes the photoreactive polymer, multi-functional monomer, photoinitiator and organic solvent. A liquid crystal film is formed on the liquid crystal alignment film.
