A password input apparatus and a password input method are provided to display a password which a user inputs through a password input information screen, thereby enabling the user to know apparently which password is inputted. A key input unit(110) receives a user request order including password input. According to a command inputted through the key input, a menu screen generator(120) generates a menu screen for the password input. A display unit(140) displays a password input screen generated through the menu screen generator. A controller(150) analyzes a password inputted through the key input unit on the password input screen. The controller controls the display unit to display a password input information screen so as for a user to check the input password. |
