An arrowroot drink and a preparation method thereof are provided to treat headache, pyrexia, thirst and gastric malfunction caused by excessive drinking and to recycle the extraction residue of Pueraria lobata ohwi. An arrowroot drink is composed of arrowroot concentrate and extracts of herbal materials, more particularly 2.0~2.5wt% of arrowroot concentrate, 4.0~4.5wt% of jujube extract, 0.15~0.25wt% of alder tree extract, 0.15~0.25wt% of mulberry leaf extract, 1.5~2.5wt% of honey, 8~12wt% of liquid fructose, 0.5~1.5wt% of xylitol, 0.08~0.12wt% of herb essence, 0.1~0.15wt% of monohydrate citric acid, 0.005~0.015wt% of nicotinic acid amide and purified water.
