A direction recognition device and an electronic device including the same are provided to recognize an inclining direction or a rotating direction, thereby having no necessity of a complicated numerical formula which causes a computation error. An electric signal input terminal(120) is installed at a frame(110). A plurality of electrodes for direction recognition(160) is arranged in the neighboring of the electric signal input terminal and is mutually insulated. In order to be rotated to a direction in which gravity works, a signal transfer unit(140) is pivotally installed on the electric signal input terminal. According to the rotation, the signal transfer unit is contacted with one among the plurality of the electrodes for direction recognition to transfer an electric signal inputted from the electric signal input terminal to the contacted electrodes for direction recognition.
