<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black resist composition for color filter having excellent developing property, resolution, adhesive property and coating property even when a large amount of a pigment is dispersed, and capable of stably forming a high-accuracy black matrix having good light shielding property. <P>SOLUTION: The black resist composition for forming a black matrix comprises a black pigment, a photosensitive resin material and a solvent, the 20 deg. mirror surface glossiness of a dried coating film of the composition is 100-200, the viscosity at 25°C is preferably within the range of 2-20 mPs, and the ratio η5/η50 between viscosities measured at the speed of revolution of 5 rpm and 50 rpm is within the range of 1-1.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
