<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for enabling faster generation of fingering information according to the contents of performance shown by musical performance information. <P>SOLUTION: Assignment section fingering generation processing is executed in a step SB2 and evaluation processing is executed in order to evaluate the fingering information in a step SB3 to be shifted afterward. The assignment section fingering generation processing of the step SB2 is again executed in accordance with the evaluation result by the judgment processing of the subsequent step SB4.
