The method involves producing a base (2) whose shape corresponds to a manufactured printed real wood surface component, and providing a printed real wood surface at a side to be printed. The printed real wood surface is printed by an ink jet printing process with a wood grain sample whose grain corresponds to a pre-determined wood. The printing of the wood surface is performed such that the real wood surface component shines through by the imprinted wood grain sample. The real wood surface is provided with an embossment before the ink jet printing process. |
