摘要 An abrasion sensor mounting structure of a pad for a caliper assembly is provided to minimize interference to the movement of a pad according to braking operation, and to restrain the occurrence of noise when a vehicle stops suddenly or passes through a rugged road surface by supplying elasticity to a space between a pad and a pad spring. An abrasion sensor mounting structure of a pad for a caliper assembly comprises an insertion groove(1) formed in the side of a back plate of a pad(53) to the appointed depth, and an abrasion sensor(3) provided with an elastic portion to support a space(D) between a pad and a pad spring(54) while one end is fixed to the back plate and the other end is inserted to the insertion groove. While the elastic portion of the abrasion sensor is inserted to the insertion groove of the pad, the elastic portion is adhered elastically to the pad spring to support a space between the pad and the pad spring to prevent the occurrence of noise caused by the movement of the pad.
