A range hood assembly is provided to prevent polluted air from being diffused to the indoor residential space, by removing the polluted air produced in the kitchen. A range hood assembly(10) comprises a main body(20) installed on the top of a work surface(5) in the kitchen, a blower unit which is installed inside the main body to inhale the smell and steam generated in cooking through the lower part of the main body and expel them to outside through an exhaust duct(50) connected to the main body, and a suction assist unit(60) which is connected to the main body or the exhaust duct to inhale the smell or steam staying in the ceiling of the kitchen.
