A brake booster is provided to simplify the configuration of the brake booster to reduce the manufacturing cost of the brake booster. A brake booster includes a casing, a power piston(30), a diaphragm(37), a valve body(26), a control plunger(27), an input shaft(25), an output shaft(32), and a circle lip(34). The casing has a front shell(21b) and a rear shell(21a) combined with each other. The power piston and the diaphragm divide the inside of the casing into a constant pressure room and a variable pressure room. The valve body penetrates the rear shell. The control plunger controls air inflow into the variable pressure room. The input shaft is connected between the control plunger and a brake pedal. The circle lip limits the range of backward motion of the control plunger. |
