摘要 A method for manufacturing porous carbon nanofiber composites with transition metals for hydrogen storage electroplated thereon is provided to control the condition of electroplating in order to accurately control the content of transition metals and their dispersion index. A method for manufacturing porous carbon nanofiber composites with transition metals for hydrogen storage electroplated thereon includes a step of applying current with electric current density of 0.01~5.0A/m^2 in a plating tank equipped with an anode and cathode for 15-300 seconds. The plating tank comprises: the anode consisting of a transition metal plate; and the cathode consisting of a conductive support and porous carbon nanofibers fixed thereto, herein the carbon nanofiber has a specific surface area of 500~3000m^2/g, a pore volume of 0.1~2.0cc/g and a diameter of 10~500 nm.
