A broadcast signal processing method of a broadcasting receiver is provided to reduce data broadcasting middleware development cost by removing the necessity of separately developing data broadcasting middleware. A broadcast signal processing method of a broadcasting receiver including a data broadcasting application related platform comprises the following steps. A location generator based on a frequency and program is inputted from a data broadcasting application based on frequency and program. A source identifier is inputted from a database storing channel information. A location generator based on the frequency, program number and source identifier is generated. The generated location generator is referred when searching a location of the data broadcasting application. |
