A laundry treating apparatus is provided to handle a small amount of laundry without driving a washing machine main body and dry laundry within a short time. A laundry treating apparatus(100) includes a washing machine main body(10), a case(20), a drawer(40), a barrier(42), a hot air supply device(22), and a placing member(50). The washing machine main body performs washing and drying operations. The case is smaller than the washing machine main body and the front side of the case is opened. The drawer enters the case and taken out of the case. The drawer has a space for receiving an to-be-dried object. The barrier divides the space into left and right regions. The hot air supply device supplies hot air to the space. The placing member is attached to the barrier and selectively extended or contracted. |
