A method of inspecting motor locking of an electronic brake system is provided to correctly determine whether a motor has a trouble for a peculiar malfunction pattern of the motor as well as a normal malfunction pattern of the motor. A motor is turned on and then turned off(S100,S120). The counter electro-motive force of the motor is sensed in the period in which the motor is turned off(S130). A rate of change of the sensed counter electro-motive force is calculated(S150). It is determined whether motor locking occurs based on the rate of change of the counter electro-motive force(S160). |
