METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING DATA IN UWB COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method and an apparatus for transmitting/receiving data in an UWB communication system are provided to transmit data by searching low power level not exceeding the tolerance of a transmission error. A method and an apparatus for transmitting/receiving data in an UWB communication system are comprised of the steps: data are transmitted to sub-bands of each band group(414); allotting sub-band according to performance ranking information of the sub-band based on data error rate and the loss of transmission power level(432); and the transmission power level is controlled under the tolerance by the allocated sub-band(474).
