FIELD: railway transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: in compliance with the proposed method, control signal is transmitted to change operating conditions of the locomotive automatic signaling system (LAS) depending upon the railway section the train runs on. Note here that the LAS operating condition is switched on for railway sections equipped with automatic locking system by satellite navigation system signal or data of the railway electronic card, which confirm that the train passed the start of aforesaid section. Note here also that the LAS operating condition is switched on for railway sections equipped with semi-automatic locking system by satellite navigation system signal or data of the railway electronic card, which confirm that the train passed the start of aforesaid section. ^ EFFECT: automatic switching of locomotive automatic signaling system without operator interference. ^ 1 dwg
