A system information transmitting and updating method is provided to enable a terminal to receive control information such as transmission time, transmission group and setting change count about system information groups classified in a base station, thereby quickly applying frequently changed system information. A system information transmitting and updating method comprises the following units. Group type information of system information multiple-grouped at a start time of a random control interval and channel technique transmission control information including a toggle bit due to a system information change count and a change state per each group are transmitted to a terminal. The group type information, the system information change count and system information of a group corresponding to a toggle bit per each group are transmitted in the control interval. |
