The proposed screen represents a spiral with its coils both equidistant and not equidistant from the point and/or axis or revolution. The spiral is coiled in two or more layers. Its surface can be fluted, and its different layers feature different coil thickness. The screen can be made in polymers, metals, glass and/or it can be made combined. The spiral coil cross section can represent trapezoid, rectangle, circle, square, oval and/or coils can be hollow. ^ EFFECT: spiral screens and filters feature improved self-cleaning ability, higher strength and capability to vary their shape and to return to initial state thereafter. ^ 12 cl |
