<p>An organic light emitting display is provided to improve characteristics of a channel region of a semiconductor layer from an external light source by forming a light shielding layer between a substrate and the semiconductor layer of a thin film transistor for performing a driving operation. An organic light emitting display includes a substrate(100), a switching thin film transistor, a driving thin film transistor, a first electrode, a second electrode, an organic layer, and a protective layer. The switching thin film transistor and the driving thin film transistor are formed on the substrate and include a semiconductor layer(110), a gate insulating layer, a gate electrode(120), an interlayer dielectric, a source electrode, and a drain electrode. The first and second electrodes are formed on the substrate and are connected with source electrodes(135a) or drain electrodes(135b) of the switching thin film transistor and the driving thin film transistor. An organic material layer(155) is formed between the first and second electrodes. The protective layer is formed between the substrate and the semiconductor layer.</p> |
