A tunnel boring machine is provided to bore a large-diameter hole without a dead zone in a front section when a car body stops, and to bore a large-diameter hole more widely in a front section. A tunnel boring machine includes a boom(3) provided to make a rear end installed to a vertical hinge portion to an engine mounted self-propelled car body(1) to select a perforated angle of a large-diameter hole by a cylinder(4), a boring machine(6) mounted to the front end of the boom to adjust a vertical gradient by a cylinder(5), a vertical hinge portion(2) installed on a swing device of the car body, a turntable for the perforation height and horizontal movement of the boring machine mounted to the front end of the boom composed of a rotary table(81), a non-rotating gear(82), a driving gear(83) and a motor(84), and a master holder(9) of the boring machine installed to the top of the rotary table.
