<p>A method and a system for controlling a data service for an outbound roamed mobile terminal are provided to realize the efficiency of a reception charging function by permitting or blocking the data service roaming by enabling a mobile terminal for which outbound roaming is confirmed to permit or block the data service roaming through the procedure control. If a location registration procedure is allowed(S404), a mobile terminal checks whether the last registered PLMN ID is different from a PLMN ID obtained from the currently connected base station(S406). If to, the mobile terminal check whether or not visiting network PLMN ID is different from the PLMN ID correspondent to a home network(S408). If so, the mobile terminal displays a user interface screen(S410). It is checked whether or not an input signal is a signal for receiving a data service of a home network at a roaming network(S412). If a permitting button is inputted, the mobile terminal transmits a data service control request message to the home network(S414).</p> |
