A crosswalk guide device for the visually handicapped person is provided to allow the visually handicapped person and people to pass the crosswalk easily by enabling them to recognize a direction and distance to a destination. A signal generation unit(102) outputs ascending 8 scales and descending 8scales. A tone rate control unit(103) has a user interface controlling a tone output rate of the scales outputted in the signal generation unit. A tone amplifier(104) amplifies the scales outputted from the signal generation unit. A tone controlling unit(105) has a user interface controlling a sound volume of the amplified scales. A controller(101) outputs the scales stored inside it when receiving a walk lamp signal.
