A method FOR MANUFACTURING AN ELECTRONIC DISPLAY DEVICE is provided to simplify the structure of a display by arranging a color optical filter on the protective plate alternately. An electronic display device(1) comprises a display(3) and a substrate(2), and a display comprises an active area(4) and a communications area(5). A masking layer(15) is deposited on a certain position of the protective plate(11') in order to face the connection area. An adhesives is coated on the surface of the display and the contact(11a') of a protective plate. The junction of the protective plate is adhered to the display, and a radiation is emitted through a protective plate.
