A method for producing bio-diesel fuel using a specific zeolite having proper acid strength is provided to simplify manufacturing processes and to gain superior conversion by using zeolite as a catalyst. A method for producing bio-diesel fuel using a specific zeolite having proper acid strength includes a modification step reacting a compound, oil and fatty acid or a mixture of the oil with alcohol under presence of an acid catalyst. The acid catalyst is a hydrophobic zeolite having a warped surface of 100~1200 m^2/g and a Si/Al molar ratio of 20~450. The zeolite includes three-dimensional space in which 6.5 Å~8 Å of fine hole is formed. The zelolite uses 1.0 ~ 3.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of a raw material. The zeolite has the Si / Al molar ratio of 25~200. A modification step is formed at a temperature of 80~200 °C for 60 ~ 300 minutes. |
