A security system and a security key apparatus are provided to mount a wireless communication module at a security key device and to enable a user to access a USN, which supports various wireless networks, by installing a wireless receiver instead an active RFID receiver. When a passive RFID tag of a security key device(116) is read out, a server(100) controls a gate device installed at a parking lot or a common entrance gate. When a confirmation request message is received through an active RFID tag of the security key device, the server notifies the confirmation message to a manager or a user terminal. When a calling message is received through an active RFID tag of the security key device, the server notifies a user of an emergency situation through a terminal of the user or manager by tracking the location of the security key device.
