An apparatus for preventing dust from scattering in a dust collector is provided to improve operation efficiency and to prevent environmental contamination due to dust scattering efficiently. An apparatus(100) for preventing dust from scattering in a dust collector includes a connecting duct(10), a main body(20), a lifting body(30), a connecting member(40), an indication body(50), a sensor member(60), and a control part(70). The connecting duct is connected to an inlet duct(11) inhaling the air. The connecting member includes a shaft member(41) and a wire member(43). The indication body comprises a guide body(51), a secondary guide body(53), a sub display unit(55), a chain sprocket(57), and a chain(59). The control part includes a damper(71) and a drive motor(72).
