TOUCH PAD HAVING PLATE FOR BLOCKING ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE

A touch pad having an electromagnetic interference shielding plate is provided to make a touch sensor easily detect not only the near position of a touch but also the distant position of touch. When an surface is touched, a touch plate(130) changes the physical quantity. By sensing the change of the physical quantity, a touch sensor(150) detects the location of the touch. An electromagnetic interference shielding plate(170) is adhered to one side of the touch plate. A plurality of openings(171) are formed on the electromagnetic interference shielding plate. The more openings come close to the touch sensor, the openings expose the touch plate in a low density.
