A laundry treating device and a control method thereof are provided to control the laundry treatment by supplying the water each processing unit according to the processing requirement of the laundry. A control method of the laundry treating device comprises: a step of inputting command to operate a second laundry processing unit and a first laundry processing unit; and a step of selectively or at once supplying the water to a first and second washing tub(120,220) installed at the first and second laundry processing unit. The first laundry processing unit is installed near the second laundry processing unit.
