An automatic tool changer of a machine tool is provided to prevent a tool from being shaken or broken away because the clamping bar will not be permitted to move back physically. An automatic tool changer of a machine tool comprises a main body(60) in which a slider hole(63) passes through one side thereof and a first compressed spring(91) is mounted on one side of the slider hole, a gripper member(70) which is combined in the other side of the main body and wherein a gripper tooth(71) is formed in one end, a clamping bar(80) which rotates around a turning unit form in the central part thereof and wherein an incline(83) is molded in one side, a shaft member(100) which prevents backward movement of the clamping bar by acting a taper(103) on the incline, and a bracket which presses down the shaft member when approaching the main body.
