APPARATUS FOR CORRECTING JITTER OF LASER BEAM IN BEAM DIRECTOR

An apparatus for correcting a jitter of a laser beam in a beam director is provided to control a beam jitter precisely by correcting a control mirror of a telescope in real time. A laser generator(41) for alignment generates the laser for alignment. A reflector(43) for alignment reflects the laser beam for alignment reflected by a main mirror(11) and a control mirror of a telescope again. A plurality of reflectors transmit the laser for alignment to the main mirror of the telescope and the reflector for alignment. A beam splitter(46) transmits the reflected laser for alignment to a position sensor(44). The position sensor senses the relative position of the laser beam for alignment reflected by the reflector for alignment. A controller(45) calculates the optical axis error of the laser beam from the relative position of the laser beam for alignment sensed in the position sensor. The controller tips and tilts the control mirror for correcting the calculated error.
