The method involves implementing an anti-blocking function of wheels of a vehicle and a main operating cycle, where the cycle includes closed loop and open loop control phases. A variable e.g. rotational speed, of a wheel of vehicle, is determined such that the method operates only in closed function in a range of values of the variable. Secondary operating cycle is implemented, where the secondary operating cycle includes a same open loop operation stage if the variable is situated in the range of values. An independent claim is also included for equipment for a brake of a vehicle, comprising a unit for implementing an antilock braking method of wheels of vehicle.
