#CMT# #/CMT# The ski boot (1a) comprises a first boot part (2a) removably connected to the ski binding and a second boot part (3a) for insertion into the first boot part. The first boot part comprises a body with a sole (5a), an upper section (6a) and a front leg section (7a), and is open at the back. The second boot part comprises a shoe (4a) with a sole, upper part, leg (10a) and rear leg section (11a). Tightening straps (12a) connected by their ends to the two sides of the front leg section hold the second boot part in place when inserted. #CMT# : #/CMT# The shoe is in the form of a flexible bootee or apres-ski half-boot and its rear leg section is made from molded synthetic material being either glued to or molded directly onto the shoe leg. Additional means of connecting the first and second boots parts comprise a lever connector mounted on the rear leg section of the inserted boot for locking with the body of the first boot part. An alternative boot arrangement comprises a first boot part with the upper section of the body being hinged at the boot tip for opening the upper part of the body and the front part of the leg and allowing insertion of the second boot. A further arrangement comprises a first boot part with the upper section of the body being open and having a pair of side wings.
