The device has two pistons (2, 3) sliding in a cylinder (1), where the pistons have rods (4, 5), sealing devices (6, 7) and controlled openings (8, 9), respectively. A heat source supplies thermal energy to two heating systems (10, 11). The controlled openings assure optimal heat exchange during heating, and liquid provided between the pistons is transformed into gas during heating a chamber (13) using the heat source. The gas is transformed into the liquid during decompression ensuring energy input at the exterior.
