The system has a by-pass duct (23) including two ends that are coupled to an air intake duct (13), where the air intake duct is connected between a variable geometry supercharger (5) and an internal combustion engine (1) of a motor vehicle. The by-pass duct has a length different from that of the air intake duct. An air intake manifold (10) is connected between the air intake duct and the engine. An air manifold (7) is connected to the supercharger and an air recirculation duct (21).
