The device (1) has a fluid inlet (5) engaged in a hollow spherical volume defined by a wall forming a sphere shaped rigid envelope (6), and a sphere shaped dampening element (10) housed in the rigid envelope, where the dampening element is made of rubber. A connection element (2) is connected to a cooling system of an engine. The dampening element has diameter lower to the diameter of the envelope. A fluid input channel (8) is connected to a fluid inlet (3) of the connection element, and a fluid output channel (9) is connected to a fluid outlet (4) of the connection element. An independent claim is also included for a cooling system for an engine.
