PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer woven fabric woven into a shape in the weaving time of a bag-like product such as mattress, top cover and pillow cover, dispensing with the cutting and sewing work of conventional cloth, and giving a multilayer tubular or bag-like product having an arbitrary shape as if subjected to sewing, when woven. SOLUTION: When weaving a multilayer fabric, a prescribed yarn row of a warp 2 and a weft 3 is divided into two upper and lower layers at the same time during the weaving of a base cloth body 1 with the warp 2 and the weft 3, an upper layer base cloth 4 is woven with the split warp 2a and weft 3a, a lower layer base cloth 5 is woven with the warp 2b and the weft 3b, each of the warps 2a, 2b and the wefts 3a, 3b weaving the upper layer base cloth 4 and the lower layer base cloth 5 are collected to form one yarn row after weaving a prescribed length, and the base cloth body is woven with the warp 2 and the weft 3 of the yarn row collected to one single row.
